Jerry R Oakley

Jerry R. Oakley, 69, of Milton, passed at home on Tuesday, February 17, 2026. He was born in Connersville on February 18, 1956 to Kenneth J. and Betty Jane (Scott) Oakley. Jerry grew up in Milton and was a 1974 graduate of Lincoln High School. He worked as an assembler at Wayne Works.

When he was not at work, he enjoyed fishing, watching drag racing and taking pictures with his Nikon camera, but most of all he loved spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife, Pam Cox; children, Melanie Stansberry, Mikayelah Oakley and Hannah Oakley; grandchildren, Allie and Mason Stansberry; siblings, Greg Oakley, Susan (Oral) Myers and Debbie Haler; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a nephew, Kevin Myers.

The family is having a private service to celebrate Jerry’s life.
